Sagar Karnik works at the intersection of portraiture and the built environment, photographing people and spaces with equal attention to structure, light, and presence. His work is shaped by careful observation and a deliberate understanding of what matters within the frame.

Formally trained in photography, Sagar’s early development was shaped through assisting cine still photographer Jayant Pednekar and learning from practitioners including Vishwas Morye and Vinay Parelkar. His influences range from Gautam Rajadhyaksha to Ansel Adams—photographers known for both discipline and restraint.
